Can Bion commode chairs be used over a toilet?

Yes. Simply remove the bucket and position the chair over your toilet bowl. If your commode chair has wheels, don’t forget to lock the wheels so that the chair is secured in place.

Can I use Bion commode chairs in the shower?

Our Bion Shower Chairs are designed for safe use in the shower, serving as both a shower chair and a commode chair.

However, our Bion Commode 103 is not meant for shower use as it can cause corrosion to the main frame.

How do I choose the right commode chair size?

If you want to use the commode over your toilet, ensure that your toilet bowl seat fits underneath the commode chair seat:

  • The commode chair height clearance for the toilet bowl should be taller than your toilet seat height from the floor.
  • Ensure that the distance between the left and right feet of the commode chair is larger than the width of your toilet seat.
